Hello Lazy, I'll review your submission.
First I'll answer your question, about the rough perspective yes the correction lines need to match the lines of the boxes you have drawn, you should see where the line of the boxes would go independently from the VP position, so if a box you drew reached the vanishing point, it was drawn well, if not then the red lines wouldn't hit the VP.
As for organic perspective the exercise objective is to rotate the boxes, however doing this exercise incorrectly isn't a big deal, you'll have plenty of time to get better with boxes.
Lines: Starting from your superimposed lines, it looks like you had some trouble drawing straight lines, especially in the first page, so much so that it seems like you didn't draw the first line with a ruler, Uncomfortable does it himself in the video, it is much more simple to keep your superimposed lines straight if you "follow" a line drawn with a ruler. Further looking at your lines I can also see that your longer lines tend to bend a bit, to contrast this try to consciously draw in the opposite direction of the bending.
in the plotted lines and plotted planes you did much better, not only the line quality got better but you also plotted every plane as it was required, well done!
Ellipses: you did a wonderful job in the table of ellipses exercise, your ellipses are smooth, drawn more than one time but not more than three and not bumpy, your ellipses in planes are also well done.
The funnels exercise seems to be also well done however some of your funnels don't divide in equal halves the ellipses, practice it this exercise a bit more.
Boxes: I'll critique the rough perspective and the rotated boxes, the other two look fine to me.
About the rough perspective, to make your boxes all aim to the vanishing point I would plot the construction of your boxes, I'll paste what I've said in another critique " **when drawing the horizontal lines that are supposed to aim to the vanishing point, try first to ghost them, whenever you feel that the trajectory is right place a dot before actually reaching the vp, then check if it is still on the trajectory, finally draw the line.
Checking the trajectory of your boxes should help a lot in this exercise**."
About the rotated boxes, the boxes aren't really rotating , I'll paste what uncomfortable said in the lesson https://drawabox.com/lesson/1/17/rotation, if you look at the image, you see the vanishing point moving on the line, to rotate the box the vanishing points need to move.
Next Steps:
draw one more rough perspective and a rotated boxes, as for the rotated boxes, there's no need to complete it fully, just draw enough boxes to show if you managed to rotate them.
It might take me more than a week to respond to your revisions because I'm going on vacation, when I'll be back I'll critique your revisions, otherwise I think you could ask in the discord server for someone to review them or make a new critique.
Just so you know, joining DAB's discord is really worth it, there's a critique exchange kind of program, it really speed things up, that way you won't have to wait too much time for a critique.
