Hi, my name is Sahdev. I loved your tutorials/Lessons. I would like to try those Homeworks on Digital Media (Following rules as on doing with Sharpee and Paper.

Can I do this and sumbit my homework for reviews?

If you're looking to submit your work for community feedback (free feedback from members of the community, which is not guaranteed since it is based on those members being generous with their time), there are no restrictions on what tools you're allowed to use. The use of ink on paper is still highly recommended for the reasons explained in the article Doodlesofdishonour referenced, of course.

If you're asking about submitting for the official, paid critiques (which are done by my teaching assistants and I), then you would have to do them using the required tools (ink/paper), and digital work is not accepted.

Feel free to look back on lesson 0, and maybe some parts of lesson 1 about the media you can use. Also look at the article titled Why Ink?, because it might clear up some confusion. But i think you can do the homework on digital media as well, its just recomended to do it with ink, especially the first lesson.

Like the Staedtlers, these also come in a set of multiple weights - the ones we use are F. One useful thing in these sets however (if you can't find the pens individually) is that some of the sets come with a brush pen (the B size). These can be helpful in filling out big black areas.

Still, I'd recommend buying these in person if you can, at a proper art supply store. They'll generally let you buy them individually, and also test them out beforehand to weed out any duds.
