Hello!
Congratulations on getting through your first lesson!
Now to the critique!
Lines: your lines seem to arch a little bit so remember to execute them confidently and use your shoulder when drawing. You also seem to have little bit of fraying on both ends on the superimposed lines exercise so remember to also focus on where you start your line. You do have some lines in the ghosted lines exercise where the line doesn't go through both dots or your lines overshoot. I would recommending practicing doing lines that are smooth, straight and start at one point and end exactly at the other in your warm ups by remembering to ghost your lines enough times and lifting your pen right when you hit the other dot. However perfect lines are not the focus of this course and confidence should be the priority when drawing lines!
Ellipses: In the ellipse section your accuracy seems to be off: in the table of ellipses your ellipses overlap each other and the borders, in the ellipses in planes your ellipse doesn't always hit all of the four sides and in the funnels your ellipses don't always touch the edge of the funnel. However it is normal for this to happen as the accuracy improves over time. When moving on I would recommend practicing ellipses that are smooth and accurate and even in shape by remembering to ghost your lines and drawing them with shoulder in your warm ups. However again accuracy is not the priority but the confidence when executing them to get smooth ellipses.
Overall you did well with the exercises so feel free to move on to the boxes!
Next Steps:
Move on to the 250 box challenge

Sorry i should have asked in the first reply but, since i finished lesson 1 should i start doing daily warmups on the things i'm doing weak on, ghosted lines(arcing), accuracy, and ellipses?
Ellipse Master Template
This recommendation is really just for those of you who've reached lesson 6 and onwards.
I haven't found the actual brand you buy to matter much, so you may want to shop around. This one is a "master" template, which will give you a broad range of ellipse degrees and sizes (this one ranges between 0.25 inches and 1.5 inches), and is a good place to start. You may end up finding that this range limits the kinds of ellipses you draw, forcing you to work within those bounds, but it may still be worth it as full sets of ellipse guides can run you quite a bit more, simply due to the sizes and degrees that need to be covered.
No matter which brand of ellipse guide you decide to pick up, make sure they have little markings for the minor axes.
