Hi and congrats on completing lesson one. I'll be taking a look at your submission today. Your superimposed lines look to be off to a good start. You are keeping a clearly defined starting point on these with all of the tapering on the opposite end. Your ghosted lines and planes are looking pretty good as well. I'm noticing a little bit of arcing that you should be aware of. https://drawabox.com/lesson/1/9/arc For the most part though you are doing a good job with the ghosting method and are getting smooth confident linework. Your accuracy still isn't quite there yet but that will get better with practice.

Your table of ellipses are coming along well. You are doing a good job drawing through all of your ellipses and you seem to be focusing on getting a smooth ellipse shape overall which is carried over nicely into your ellipses in planes. Your accuracy still could use some work but it's good that you are more focused on trying to get a smooth ellipse shape overall. As you get more and more consistent with getting a smooth ellipse shape you can start worrying more about accuracy. You are having some issues with your ellipses in funnels with them tilting off the minor axis. Please check the lesson notes here. https://drawabox.com/lesson/1/13/notaligned While this isn't a major issue I think it's something you should always be thinking about when drawing an ellipse. I think your ellipses are off to a good start but there's still lots of room for improvement here so keep practicing these during your warmups.

Plotted perspective looks good nothing to mention here. Your rough perspective boxes look good for the most part. You did a good job extending the lines back on your boxes to check your work. As you can see some of your perspective estimations were off but that will get better with practice. I am noticing a bit of wobble in some of your lines. This is likely happening because you are either skipping steps in the ghosting method or have reverted to drawing with your wrist. So I just want to remind you that you should always ghost your lines multiple times and draw from your shoulder with confidence. Even on shorter lines like these.

Good job on the rotated box exercise! You did really well with drawing through your boxes and keeping your gaps narrow and consistent. I think you ran into a pretty common problem of not actually rotating your boxes enough though and are instead just drawing them moving back in perspective in some cases. https://drawabox.com/lesson/1/13/notaligned Finally your ogranic perspective exercise turned out pretty good. Your line quality here feels improved over your rough perspective boxes so good job there. You are have a few issues here and there with your convergences so the 250 box challenge will give you a lot of practice with that.

This was a good submission overall that showed a nice amount of growth and I think you got better with your line quality as you worked through these exercises. Just remember to keep using the ghosting method and drawing from your shoulder with confidence. I think you are doing a good job understanding most of the concepts these lessons are trying to convey. I'm going to mark this as complete and good luck with the 250 box challenge.
