Finally finished. Woo me! -does happy dance-
Photos seem blurry to me, happy to try and retake any if needed.-ugh- Spent all that time putting them in order, only for Imgur to move them around. Yay. I did number the pages though, hopefully that will help.
Ohh and Imgur may claim the pics are no longer there but they are. Not sure what's going on. I'm not the only person with this issue. I noticed it while snooping around for the promptathon. A google search came up with using the "choose photo/video" rather than the "drag and drop" option. Used drag and drop this time, let's see if it makes a difference.
Thoughts...
I'm just happy I managed to finish it at all. I aimed for three pages of five boxes per day. Each set (3 pgs) took about two hours, give or take.
Still having issues with the angles while using the "Y" method. Tried out a few different ways to draw a box before going back to the Ys. I started thinking all the boxes looked too similar, maybe that's just coz all I seemed to be doing is boxes. A few days of "me" art is in order I thinks. Found something called neurographic art which might be interesting to play around with for the 50% rule.
My lines still aren't great. I can ghost until the cows come home and it will still turn out wonkie. Or I'd do a great line only to ruin it by going over it again because it was an outside edge. That said, I do see an improvement. I seem to be doing something right.
While the boxes aren't great, I think I'm getting there. Easy enough to "see" the lines for a box now. Although the rear edge is still an issue which is to be expected.
Thank you for your time!
Ohh my friend found a little portable "lap" table that is almost the perfect height for sitting cross legged on the floor. WooHoo! Could be an inch lower, but other than that it seems to be going ok. Still doing "me" art on my lap, that may change. We shall see.
