Hello Artists, I 've completed 250 box challenge
Please help me by critiquing it. Anyword word for improvement are more than welcome :)
Nice job finishing the challenge!
I'm making this as complete, however:
On a couple of the last pages you've played around with your boxes a bit, to the point of ignoring the point of the challenge (several boxes aren't drawn in their entirety and you haven't extended many of them.)
With this program, it's not about being entertaining, it's about the skills you learn.
Make sure to take lots of breaks and draw fun things too on the side, don't try to combine draw a box with more fun things it'll just lesson the value of both (if drawing boxes in different arrangements is fun to you, by all means do it, but it's not suitable for this course or challenge, especially when you don't follow the rules)
I really think you will learn a lot from this course, you already have! But you have to pay attention to what the exercises call for if you want the most out of them.
Next Steps:
Go on to lesson 2! (and lesson 1 if you skipped it, I don't see it on your profile)
This is a remarkable little pen. Technically speaking, any brush pen of reasonable quality will do, but I'm especially fond of this one. It's incredibly difficult to draw with (especially at first) due to how much your stroke varies based on how much pressure you apply, and how you use it - but at the same time despite this frustration, it's also incredibly fun.
Moreover, due to the challenge of its use, it teaches you a lot about the nuances of one's stroke. These are the kinds of skills that one can carry over to standard felt tip pens, as well as to digital media. Really great for doodling and just enjoying yourself.
