Hi,

You've gotten most of the critique for your earlier boxes on the discord server, so I'll be critiquing the latter ones only. Your convergences have gotten pretty good over the course of the entire set, and you converge consistently correctly, with your inner lines being almost co-linear most of the time, good work! There are slight issues with your linework. Your lines still seem somewhat wobbly, even towards the end. You have to ensure you ghost properly, and do it a few times, and then put down your line swiftly. Ensure you use your shoulder as well. I would recommend practicing ghosted planes and lines everyday whilst warming, with a focus on these things.

All-in-all, you've done pretty good work! Good job on finishing the challenge, feel free to move onto lesson 2. But practice your linework everyday.

Next Steps:

Good work!

Color and Light by James Gurney

Color and Light by James Gurney

Some of you may remember James Gurney's breathtaking work in the Dinotopia series. This is easily my favourite book on the topic of colour and light, and comes highly recommended by any artist worth their salt. While it speaks from the perspective of a traditional painter, the information in this book is invaluable for work in any medium.
