Lines:
Super imposed: Good positioning of the pen at the starting point
Ghosted lines: Nice confident lines. Some slight arching, could be from drawing from the wrist instead of the shoulder. Overall really good.
Planes: Nice ( including sad face nr 23)
Eclipses: I noticed a sight tendency to make it egg shaped (smaller at upper end and wider at lower)
Boxes:
Rotated boxes: the boxes closest to the central one have almost no tilt. The later ones at the edge ( upper central in particular) are nicely tilted.
Organic perspective: Looks good. Whatever polishing you need you’ll get from the 250 box challenge
Next Steps:
I would suggest doing funnels again to get the top and bottom more even. But don’t get hang up on it. It comes with time as you draw more.
Go on to the 250 boxes now, be brave and try some more extreme vanishing points. Use the suggested Y generator in the beginning, you’ll get the hang of it soon enough!
Right from when students hit the 50% rule early on in Lesson 0, they ask the same question - "What am I supposed to draw?"
It's not magic. We're made to think that when someone just whips off interesting things to draw, that they're gifted in a way that we are not. The problem isn't that we don't have ideas - it's that the ideas we have are so vague, they feel like nothing at all. In this course, we're going to look at how we can explore, pursue, and develop those fuzzy notions into something more concrete.
