Thanks in advance
Hello Pillowvisions!
welcome to Drawabox! A great start here!!
With the first few exercises really try to just let the line go and not aim it. This will help with the wobble in your lines. Just ghost a few times and put the pen down. I like to concentrate on the point I'm trying to reach the whole time I'm ghosting. As you get better and better, try to extend the lines when warming up as well!
For the ellipses, try starting out with 3 rotations and lower it to 2 once you get more confident. Also just put it down without thinking too much, like the lines. Once it is down go with it.
The perspective sheets looks great and show your understanding. The free hand ones will improve as you continue on
The rotated boxes are looking sweet as well! When you try it another time, try to push the convergence and make them sharper. this will give more of the ball look like the example.
the organic perspective boxes are looking really neat! Watch out for the different rates of convergence. Since they are in the same 3d space, their convergences would be similar to each other. So keep it consistent!
good luck on the 250 box challenge!
I think it will give you a lot more confidence with you lines!
make sure to use these different exercises as warm up!

Like the Staedtlers, these also come in a set of multiple weights - the ones we use are F. One useful thing in these sets however (if you can't find the pens individually) is that some of the sets come with a brush pen (the B size). These can be helpful in filling out big black areas.
Still, I'd recommend buying these in person if you can, at a proper art supply store. They'll generally let you buy them individually, and also test them out beforehand to weed out any duds.
