hello there,
i"m sorry you had to wait quite a while,
welcome to drawabox.
i'll be looking over your lesson 1 .
lines : very great superimposred lines. The short lines and the curves are precised. The longest lines have many wobbleness in it. Its fine, due to its lenght you must have felt overwhelmed. All you have to do is ghost until you feel like its a piece of cake. and also make sure to draw from yyour shoulder. heres a fun comic about it
great ghosted lines ! they are confident and neat. (lets overlook some wobbles, because we are still learning) . your planes are well drawn ,following the lesson's parameters too.
ellipses : Very cool , but some ellipses arent snuggly fitted . Smooth lines again !! you have followed the lesson instrution properly . your funnel exercise is also good : its snuggly fitted, ellipses are drawn through 2 times, they align to minor axis well and it cuts them in almost symmetrical halves. Nothing to worry about here.
Boxes : No words in plotted perspective , its very neat. fine work with rough perspective. the lines are well drawn. and your horizontal lines does run close to being parallel to horizon and height of box being perpendicular to the horizon line. Dont worry over the accuracy of perspective for now as you will be experimenting with it upcoming challenge. In the rotated box, the boxes arent quite rotating i 'd say. The area of plane facing us will gradually decrease as the box gets rotated. heres a reference. The lines are getting weaker in the organic perspective. Always make sure to draw from your shoulder and ghost them. Apply what you've learnt. Take this course as a journey.
You have done a splendid work. So i'm marking your lesson complete
Next Steps:
on to 250box challenge.
Like the Staedtlers, these also come in a set of multiple weights - the ones we use are F. One useful thing in these sets however (if you can't find the pens individually) is that some of the sets come with a brush pen (the B size). These can be helpful in filling out big black areas.
Still, I'd recommend buying these in person if you can, at a proper art supply store. They'll generally let you buy them individually, and also test them out beforehand to weed out any duds.
