Just a note, that while It may seem that I am forcing the boxes lines into infinite, I am just using shallow foreshortening, since overall I can't really understand the part from the notes given that "What we draw here is a box, not a cube", which got me thinking if what it meant is the planes, not putting it in any drastic foreshortening, so that the ellipse fitting right there can be consistent (It's minor axis and contact point) with the lines of the box. Overall advanced thanks for critiquing my work!

Marco Bucci's got a ton of great courses available on proko.com, including some of the best videos you can find on using colour and light. Since a lot of our students want to break into working with digital painting however, I thought this course in particular would be a great start to get into the weeds with how to navigate the confusing world of layers, brushes, and more.

This course highlights programs across the full spectrum of options, ranging from the current industry standard Adobe Photoshop, to the Free-and-Open-Source darling Krita, as well as the mobile favourite, Procreate.

Remember that when you agree with something another user has written, you are putting your own reputation behind it.

Consider the following:

  • If it's homework feedback, does it address each section of the lesson/challenge, or only briefly touch upon one or two exercises?
  • Does it provide clearly defined next steps for the student to follow?
  • Have you read through it thoroughly, or are you simply agreeing so the student earns a superficial badge?
  • Replies you agree with will be visible in your sketchbook
