I think I did a fairly good job. I only struggled with the Organic Perspective exercise... I think I've overdone it with the foreshortening and made the corners to far back so the boxes looked a bit wonky, but after rewatching the video I improved it in the following iterations, especially on the second page. Looking forward to the 250 Box Challenge!

Thanks for looking at my homework :)

Overall, your work is good and your accuracy is great. Although, one thing I find necessary to mention is the fact that your lines tend to wobble, perhaps you are focusing too much on accuracy and are forgetting that the number 1 priority is confident, smooth lines. You don't need to completely redo everything, but I would like to request one or two pages of the ghosted planes exercise with your focus purely on smooth and consistent mark making. Take a look at this page again for a refresher on markmaking: https://drawabox.com/lesson/1/3/markmaking

Other than that, I don't have much to say other than your rotated boxes were beautiful to look at.

Next Steps:

One or two pages of the Ghosted Planes exercise, with your focus on making confident and smooth lines.

Thank you very much for the feedback!

I totally agree with the wobbling. I think it had to do with the limited space of my desk. It kind of limited shoulder movement. I also have a gaming chair with high arm rests that often got in the way.

Thats why I moved to another table do redraw the exercises :) that kind of improved it, I think. I did one page with my pinky finger on the paper as a guide, which I normally do. I also did almost a full page not touching the paper with my hand while drawing the lines. Those looked pretty good IMO.

Thanks

Totally understandable that the limited space made it more difficult. Your lines are much smoother now, looking great!

I think you're definitely all good to move on to the 250 Box Challenge now! :)

Next Steps:

Start the 250 Box Challenge :)

Drawabox isn't the be-all, end-all of drawing fundamental education. Our approach prioritizes certain concepts over others, and while we believe it do so for good reasons, ultimately it doesn't appeal to everyone. If Drawabox simply doesn't work for you, give Proko's Drawing Basics course a try - at the very least, you'll probably find it to be a hell of a lot more fun.
