Gnome bugrider.

Bugs can be used as very effective beasts of burden for the tiny forest gnomes.

What tools do you use to make art like this? It’s so cool. I love everything about it!

I use ink which I drop onto the drawing paper first, then I use paper towels to dry off and smudge it a bit, then look for shapes in the ink to work with.

Oh very nice!

I don't know if I'd ride that kind of bug, but apparently it's not bugging the gnome.

Is it done digitally or tradi?

Thank you for your kind words! It's Traditional, I don't have the tools for digital art.

Scary! Was that intended?

Looks really cool!

It's a big bug, so I would say it was intended indeed! And thank you!

How to Draw by Scott Robertson

When it comes to technical drawing, there's no one better than Scott Robertson. I regularly use this book as a reference when eyeballing my perspective just won't cut it anymore. Need to figure out exactly how to rotate an object in 3D space? How to project a shape in perspective? Look no further.
