Supposed to be a bunch of weapons: A rifle and a chainsaw with dragon-shaped attachments

Backstory:

It was a cool day. With the sun about to set, an old man, full from a hearty supper, sits down on an old, rickety chair and lights a cigar. In the top left of his shirt, a badge can be found: a dragon with runic characters surrounding it, as if to give magical protection to the dragon within.

To the wall hung a frame with symbols which the man could remember their meanings clear as those fateful days: 92720; their leader KC, was quarantined after she mentioned the so-called "ineffable name" and angered a bunch of ultranationalists. 101920; KC's quarantine ended, and the ultranationalists launched their attack on the same time: sending spams and death threats, with their ultimate goal being to wipe her from the face of the earth. It was there he reflected on the two weapons he brought with him during the conflict: A modified M1 Garand fitted with a dragon-shaped scope, and a chainsaw with its body looking like a dragon head. The blade contains the same runic characters as his badge and fills the man with sadness first, followed by rage and thirst for vengeance.

Below the frame is an offering table of sorts. In it lay some oranges, a bayonet knife, candles and incense, as if to honor his comrades who have perished in the war, and to bless whose still alive. The weapons now flank the table and frame, covered with dust as their work is finished years ago.

With the cigar now a stub, reflections made, and his thirst for vengeance restrained. He said a mantra: "Live and Prosper" before extinguishing the cigar, brushed his teeth, and went to sleep.

This is another one of those things that aren't sold through Amazon, so I don't get a commission on it - but it's just too good to leave out. PureRef is a fantastic piece of software that is both Windows and Mac compatible. It's used for collecting reference and compiling them into a moodboard. You can move them around freely, have them automatically arranged, zoom in/out and even scale/flip/rotate images as you please. If needed, you can also add little text notes.

When starting on a project, I'll often open it up and start dragging reference images off the internet onto the board. When I'm done, I'll save out a '.pur' file, which embeds all the images. They can get pretty big, but are way more convenient than hauling around folders full of separate images.

Did I mention you can get it for free? The developer allows you to pay whatever amount you want for it. They recommend $5, but they'll allow you to take it for nothing. Really though, with software this versatile and polished, you really should throw them a few bucks if you pick it up. It's more than worth it.
