Hello! Let's take a look at your submission.
Lines
Your super imposed lines look very confident and straight, I can tell you drew from your shoulder. Your ghosted lines look very good as well, since what matters here is that you took the time to ghost them and did them confidently rather than accuracy (that will be worked on later), even so your accuracy is very good overall! Same with your ghosted planes. You have really good lines!
Ellipses
Your ghosted planes with ellipses have a bit of wobbling, but you managed to correct it in the last ones, so well done. They also touch all the borders of the planes and you only drew through them twice or thrice, same with the tables of ellipses, there is almost no overlapping and they are tangent. Some of the ellipses in the funnels are not actually divided in two equal halves, but it is a minor mistake and it is only present in some of the ellipses.
Boxes
Your rough perspective seem to have a bit more of wobbling in the boxes. Remember to draw with your shoulder even if the box is not very big (tip: make your boxes a bit bigger so it is easier to make straight lines sith your shoulders, that will be helpful in the 250 box challenge). Your rotated boxes look great, keep it up! You remembered to change the position of the vanishing points to show rotation, although be careful with the boxes on the lower side, some of them are almost not rotating (still, you did very good) The lines in your organic perspective look more confident, and the boxes do seem to have some perspective to them.
Overall, great job! I am marking this lesson as complete. Now you'll need to move on to the 250 box challenge. It can seem hard, but you can do it!
Next Steps:
Move on to the 250 box challenge
Also, every 30 boxes or so (or if you have any doubts), you can submit some boxes in the discord server (in #basic challenges), so people will help you correct your mistakes early on. Good luck!
Color and Light by James Gurney
Some of you may remember James Gurney's breathtaking work in the Dinotopia series. This is easily my favourite book on the topic of colour and light, and comes highly recommended by any artist worth their salt. While it speaks from the perspective of a traditional painter, the information in this book is invaluable for work in any medium.
