Its been a fun month-and-a-half working on these. I definitely noticed a lot of improvement looking back through the older boxes. Thanks for taking the time to critique and help me push forward!

Hello, congratulations on completing the 250 box challenge! I'll be reviewing your work.

Line quality

Throughout the challenge, your linework is crisp and clean. Great work! Your hatching is also fairly neat. Nice work on implementing lineweights on your boxes. If you aren't doing so already, I recommend adding superimposed lines to your warmup, in order to further strengthen your skills.

Box construction

You've improved your convergences quite a bit. I can see that you've improve your inner corner. Here is an image that can help you further develop your inner corner (https://i.imgur.com/8PqQLE0.png), it helps to start thinking about the relationships between lines instead of thinking only about the lines in pairs. You should also try boxes with dramatic foreshortening, though from your boxes I can tell you have a firm grasp on the concept of convergence.

Overall, you did really well! Your linework is very good, and so are your convergences. I'll go ahead and mark this as complete. After your box overload, make sure to include boxes in your warmups, in order to continue building spatial reasoning.

Thank you for your critique. I have seen that photo you've shared on the discord but I was not aware to think of the lines in groups of pairs. I'll keep that in mind going forward and add boxes to warm up. Thanks for taking the time to help me out!

The Science of Deciding What You Should Draw

The Science of Deciding What You Should Draw

Right from when students hit the 50% rule early on in Lesson 0, they ask the same question - "What am I supposed to draw?"

It's not magic. We're made to think that when someone just whips off interesting things to draw, that they're gifted in a way that we are not. The problem isn't that we don't have ideas - it's that the ideas we have are so vague, they feel like nothing at all. In this course, we're going to look at how we can explore, pursue, and develop those fuzzy notions into something more concrete.
