Hello! I'm new here and new at making art, or at least trying to improve my art. Finally finished lesson 1. It took me a long while to get the assignments done. I did realize I'm missing another rough perspective page. When I was attempting to submit my work I couldn't find the second page to the rough perspective. I'm positive I've done the page, maybe I have overwritten it? Anyway, I probably will do it again, but I was prepared for submission already and have been working for months. I hope this is still satisfactory. Yes, I did the work digitally. There's a reason for me not doing traditional art. The disabilities I have make me unable to draw without wobbling or I incorrectly draw straight lines in the drawings I do. Can't help it without the digital tools. Thank you for taking the time to look at the work I have done. Please leave as much criticism as you can. Thank you once again.

The Science of Deciding What You Should Draw

The Science of Deciding What You Should Draw

Right from when students hit the 50% rule early on in Lesson 0, they ask the same question - "What am I supposed to draw?"

It's not magic. We're made to think that when someone just whips off interesting things to draw, that they're gifted in a way that we are not. The problem isn't that we don't have ideas - it's that the ideas we have are so vague, they feel like nothing at all. In this course, we're going to look at how we can explore, pursue, and develop those fuzzy notions into something more concrete.
