Great work! You seem to be following the instructions for each lesson well, along with internalizing the main concepts of the course. Things will only get better over time with regular practise & warmups.

I want to add that I really liked the small symbols & shades you made for mistakes & such, which can definitely help for learning.

However, your freehand line quality seems a bit thin & rough, especially compared to the ruler parts. This may just be the photo quality, or it could be for several reasons:

  1. It might be an old pen that's nearly out of ink. Old fine liner pens can be a lot thinner & scratchier. If you have been using your pen for a year or more, it might be time for a new one.

  2. It's a thinner pen size, smaller than the recommended 0.5. Thicker pens will help for both legibility & line smoothness.

  3. Most likely, it's how you hold your pen, which I had. Fine liners are normally flat tipped instead of rounded, so holding it closer to 90 degrees to the paper will help to make smoother & more fluid lines.

Overall, congrats on completing Lesson 1! You did a great job, wishing you the best for the 250 Boxes Challenge.
