Here is my self analysis:

The biggest mistake I can tell that I made is that of chicken scratch. There is a ton of chicken scratch because I tried to prioritize accuracy over confidence. My bad.

I should have used my French curve tool to draw everything if I wanted that accuracy. Problem with that is is that it slows down the drawing process a lot vs just drawing it free hand. My impatience costed me here. Otherwise I took my time with each wheel mostly.

Drawing the big parts of each wheel with the French curve is time efficient. It is drawing the very small details with it that it is not. Maybe I should have just omitted those fine details if I wanted to eliminate chicken scratch completely, if I wasn't going to commit to using the French curve for them. Or maybe if I wanted to draw them regardless I should have prioritized confidence over accuracy and just accept the fact it would be inaccurate.

Other than that from what I can tell, I did a pretty good job.

If there are any other mistakes I'm not aware of please let me know. Thank you.

Pentel Pocket Brush Pen

Pentel Pocket Brush Pen

This is a remarkable little pen. Technically speaking, any brush pen of reasonable quality will do, but I'm especially fond of this one. It's incredibly difficult to draw with (especially at first) due to how much your stroke varies based on how much pressure you apply, and how you use it - but at the same time despite this frustration, it's also incredibly fun.

Moreover, due to the challenge of its use, it teaches you a lot about the nuances of one's stroke. These are the kinds of skills that one can carry over to standard felt tip pens, as well as to digital media. Really great for doodling and just enjoying yourself.
