Hi, great job on finishing Lesson 1!

Great job on using the ghosting methods and executing confident lines. You aren't overshooting or undershooting which is fantastic. Though some of your lines on Ghosted Lines and both Ghosted Planes pages tend to slightly arch, wobble, or may slightly miss its mark, that can easily be fixed by practice over time as you proceed onto the next lessons.

Tables of Ellipses and Ellipses in Planes, your ellipses tend to be less confident compared to your lines. Again, this is definitely something you'll improve on as you progress through the lessons; however, remember to use the ghosting method when drawing the ellipses and draw them confidently as if they were lines. Asides from that, great job on from keeping your ellipses overlapping too much or go outside the box!

The ellipses on the Funnels exercise is much more confident compared and are also properly aligned with the minor axis which is fantastic! A minor issue on that funnel near the bottom is your ellipses were drawn at an angle, which off-centered them. But overall these are really great. :D

Both pages of Rough Perspective your lines are slightly more less confident and some boxes may not be properly aligned with the horizon axis but that's alright. It might be slightly nerve racking when drawing boxes while considering the vanishing point and all but you'll get a lot more practice with that on the 250 box challenge, with 3 vanishing points instead. Asides from that, amazing work on drawing your boxes line back to the vanishing point!

Your boxes are rotating nicely on Rotated Boxes. Some boxes are a little out of place but overall it's great!

Great job on drawing the different angles of the boxes, slight perspective issues here and there, but well done.

I'd like to remind you that you can apply line weight on the outer lines of boxes to emphasize their shape and to tell you which sides are in front. You can do this by applying a singular ghosted-stroke on top of a line. I highly suggest doing this as it's a great tool to practice and work on as it'll definitely help you in future lessons.

Overall, amazing work and I'll be marking this as complete. Good luck on the 250 Box Challenge!

Like the Staedtlers, these also come in a set of multiple weights - the ones we use are F. One useful thing in these sets however (if you can't find the pens individually) is that some of the sets come with a brush pen (the B size). These can be helpful in filling out big black areas.

Still, I'd recommend buying these in person if you can, at a proper art supply store. They'll generally let you buy them individually, and also test them out beforehand to weed out any duds.
