I did this challenge imediately after lesson 1 because i heard it takes time to get a critique and in the first 100 boxes i used pencil instead of different colour pen because i didn't have at the time and at the end i used different colour pen cause friend allowed me to keep it but it has already finished so i wasn't able to change the correction and my dad wasn't willing to buy me another pen cause i have 6 black pens at my disposal and forgot to get different coloured pen so that is that and at the last few pages i started to get confused which place is which hense the lines. Please don't make me do another 250 boxes challenge cause it was really time consuming and i used 1 and a half of my sketchpad for it.

The Art of Blizzard Entertainment

While I have a massive library of non-instructional art books I've collected over the years, there's only a handful that are actually important to me. This is one of them - so much so that I jammed my copy into my overstuffed backpack when flying back from my parents' house just so I could have it at my apartment. My back's been sore for a week.

The reason I hold this book in such high esteem is because of how it puts the relatively new field of game art into perspective, showing how concept art really just started off as crude sketches intended to communicate ideas to storytellers, designers and 3D modelers. How all of this focus on beautiful illustrations is really secondary to the core of a concept artist's job. A real eye-opener.
