Hi Everyone! My name's Joaquin and i´m from Ecuador. I´m gratefull of being part of this community.
Hey,
Good work finishing lesson 1.
Here are my comments on your submission.
Superimposed Lines
Your lines are confident but I noticed that there are some lines where frayed on both ends.
just make sure you are being careful to place your pen at the beginning of the line.
Ghosted Lines
Ghosted lines look fine. I can tell you do have a habit of undershooting your lines try to keep your pen to the paper until you've reached the end point. I would also suggest trying some longer lines as well.
Ghosted Planes
Ghosted planes look good. Just make sure you are ghosting your intersecting lines as well. Some seem to be a little bit off but that is something that will improve with practice.
Tables of Ellipses
You are making sure to do 2 rotations on your ellipses so that's good. I did notice a few with that were a little point just make sure you are drawing from your shoulder but really nice other wise.
Ellipses in Planes
Not much to say here your ellipses these ook pretttty solid to me. I know they probably were not as accurate as you hopped by the lines are confident and smooth so good job.
Funnels
Your funnels look good most have the minor axis cutting them and they touch each other as wll. Nice smooth and confident .
Plotted Perspective
Plotted perspective looks good. Nice job.
Rough Perspective
Your rough perspective is pretty good as well. Just make sure ghost your line all the way to the vanishing point even if you don't intend to draw that far back.
Rotated Boxes
Rotated boxes are looking nice job.
Organic Perspective
Organic perspective looks good as well.
Next Steps:
I think you are also all set to start your 250 boxes. Good Job.
Thank you for your time AN_DUH_SUN. I will consider your advice to continue with the 250 boxes challenge. I really appreciate your feedback
hi bro i am trollfromhell and i will give my critiques
-lines
your lines look confident and a little TINY bit of arcing on barely a handful of these, but most are perfectly bold and confident. I wish mine were this good, actually
ellipses
your ellipses are pretty good too, on the ellipses table exercise i notice some ellipses that overlaps each other, remember to keep them within their bounds, they should touch each other without overlapping. same with the funnels exercise!
-Funnels: These look really good. The minor axis cuts right across almost all of the ellipses. That, and most touch each other too.
-Plotted Perspective: Looks great. I see nothing wrong here.
-Rough Perspective: Also looks really great.
-Rotated Boxes: All the boxes fit nice and tight together
-organic perspective:man these boxes look great
i think you are good to go to 250 boxes lesson
Next Steps:
250 boxes exercise
Thank you for your time TROLLFROMHELL. I will consider your advice to continue with the 250 boxes challenge. I really appreciate your feedback and your kind words even coming from a Troll from Hell.
Like the Staedtlers, these also come in a set of multiple weights - the ones we use are F. One useful thing in these sets however (if you can't find the pens individually) is that some of the sets come with a brush pen (the B size). These can be helpful in filling out big black areas.
Still, I'd recommend buying these in person if you can, at a proper art supply store. They'll generally let you buy them individually, and also test them out beforehand to weed out any duds.
