Post with 45 views. Dab lesson 2

This lesson hit a lot of my weak points and I really struggled with parts of it.

I think I understood the organic arrows and organic forms, but was held back by line control.

However, drawing textures is something I've never understood and I think that's clear in my work. I listened to what the lessons were saying, but something about has always been extremely difficult for me. By far the hardest part of Drawabox so far.

I also feel like I rushed the last two sections a little too much and in hindsight I wish I hadn't done that.

I'm sure there's also many issues I'm not even realising so all feedback is greatly appreciated as always :D

Pentel Pocket Brush Pen

Pentel Pocket Brush Pen

This is a remarkable little pen. Technically speaking, any brush pen of reasonable quality will do, but I'm especially fond of this one. It's incredibly difficult to draw with (especially at first) due to how much your stroke varies based on how much pressure you apply, and how you use it - but at the same time despite this frustration, it's also incredibly fun.

Moreover, due to the challenge of its use, it teaches you a lot about the nuances of one's stroke. These are the kinds of skills that one can carry over to standard felt tip pens, as well as to digital media. Really great for doodling and just enjoying yourself.
