Self Evaluate
-I’m an aspiring artist aiming to improve my art skills. I think my drawing skill is too weak so my goal is to build a strong art foundation here. I was familiar with pencil/charcoal drawing in the past but this is my first time drawing with an ink pen. After the box exercise I learned to execute lines with more confidence, also I had a better understanding of perspective.
Superimposed Lines
-I didn’t draw those arcs correctly because I was fraying both ends. Then I noticed this problem when I was drawing the last page so I tried to fix it. Also for the guideline I wanted to use another color so I can see the margin of error clearly.
-I noticed my rotated boxes feel like they’re not actually rotating because
each edge should be lower than their adjacent edges as they rotate to another side(right now they look flat and they’re almost converging towards the same VP)
-Sometimes I know I drew a line wrong at my first attempt so i tried to draw again(and this will make my drawing messy because there are some overlapped lines in it)
I don't know if this is ok. Should I take multiple attempts for a line if I did it wrong or do I just leave the wrong line and move on to draw the next line?
