Hi!
Good job finishing lesson 1, I'll do my best to give oyu some solid feedback :)
LINES:
-
your superimposed lines look good a bit of fraying and slight arcs on the longer lines but practice makes perfect!
-
ghosted lines are nice and straight and mostly hitting the right points, I notice the line weight tapers off towards the end so I assume you are doing quite quick lines and taking your pen off the paper before the end of the line, I would maybe keep this in mind going forward and practice putting down an even line weight, I realise it's difficult to do this and to get a straight/accurate line so just keep working on it!
-
ghosted planes are great, the line quality is really nice on these!
ELLIPSES:
-
I can't see a table of ellipses! wondering if you've missed it off in your upload?
-
I can't really fault your ellipses in planes at this stage of the process, they will simply get better with time, they are placed well within the planes and I can see you have gone over them multiple times which is good!
-
the ellipses in funnels are also good however I would have liked to see more variation of the degree of the ellipse as they move further away from the center, like you have done with the one on the far right.
BOXES:
-
No issues with your plotted perspective boxes, well done.
-
rough perspective boxes looking good, nice line quality and the lines converge nicely on or very close to the vanishing point, when drawing in one point perspective like this just be careful to keep the vertical lines vertical, there are a couple of boxes that have a sloping plane because of this, it's useful to compare them to the edge of your paper to get them right.
-
rotated boxes are great, I can see them turning in space so good job!
-
good job with the organic perspective boxes, in order to really drive home the idea of perspective you can really push the relative size of the elements on the page, make some really big and some really small, also I think you could have done more to make them overlap, this also helps to describe the boxes position in space.
All in all really good job, submit your table of ellipses and then I think you will be good to move onto the 250 boxes challenge! good work!
