Lesson 1: Lines, Ellipses and Boxes

I just completed the first lesson exercises, I would appreciate receiving criticism of my progress
Pretty good job overall! Lines and ellipses are super confident and good, keep it up like that and you'll nail the accuracy.
For ellipses, try to stick to drawing through them only 2 times, as it'll make it cleaner.
Boxes are pretty good in general, though these have a few issues.
Don't forget to draw through your boxes on this one. You should be able to see the boxes, even if they're covered by other boxes. You can add lineweight to clarify their relationship on the line overlaps after.
And don't forget not to repeat lines, no matter how off a line is, don't repeat it, keep going as if it was correct.
Next Steps:
Great job! Good luck with the box challenge and keep up the good work!
Like the Staedtlers, these also come in a set of multiple weights - the ones we use are F. One useful thing in these sets however (if you can't find the pens individually) is that some of the sets come with a brush pen (the B size). These can be helpful in filling out big black areas.
Still, I'd recommend buying these in person if you can, at a proper art supply store. They'll generally let you buy them individually, and also test them out beforehand to weed out any duds.
