Hi, GHOST1804. I am glad you finished Lesson 1.

Lines

Superimposed Lines looks good. There is no fraying at the beginning, so good job on planing your lines. Although there is a lot of fraying towards the end, especially on the curved lines. But it will be better as you keep doing it.

There are two pages for Ghosted Lines. The homework suggests one page only. You don't have to make more pages; as you go on, there will be plenty of times you can work on them in your warm-ups. There are wobbling and arching in your lines. Try to be more confident and draw from your shoulder. Also, you can try doing longer lines.

Some of the lines in your planes arching a lot. If you tend to draw arching lines, then try consciously archin your line slightly in the opposite direction. You can check Uncomfortable's explanation about arching.

Ellipses

I liked that you draw through your ellipses. With more practice, your ellipses will tighten up, so keep drawing through. In Tables of Ellipses there are overlappings. Try to draw ellipses sitting snugly in the boundaries without overlapping. I like how you draw various angles and how the ellipses follow the form of the boundaries.

In Ellipses in Planes, the ellipses are inside the planes and touching all four edges most of the time, so well done. There are some ellipses with pointy edges. Don't forget to apply the ghosting method here as well.

In Funnels, there are some alignment issues. Don't forget the minor axis should cut the ellipses into two equal, symmetrical halves. I liked that you changed the degree of your ellipses towards the middle. Also, it is good that there are no overshooting or overlapping; they are all fitting nicely.

Boxes

In this part, as you said so yourself, there are a lot of repeated lines. But you are already aware of that, and you seemed to work on this. :)

In Rough Perspective, you seemed to paid attention to the vertical and horizontal lines; good job. Some converging lines missed the vanishing point, but most of them were well planned.

I liked your Rotated Boxes in general. The space between the boxes consistent and close to each other most of the time. I believe you understood quite a bit about 3D space with this homework. Some of the boxes are not rotating enough, especially the ones in the corner. Don't forget, when a box turns, the vanishing point slides, and the convergence of lines changes. You used the neighboring edges to figure out the angles of your new box's edges well in the middle part, but when you got to the corners, the distance between the boxes got bigger, and the edges didn't follow the existing ones, so pay attention to those parts.

In Organic Perspective, the page below looks a little messy, but the page above looks good, especially the last frame was well done. There is a bit of confusion in the second frame on the page below. I believe you drew two different swoopy lines, which broke the illusion of 3D space. Stick with only one line. There are some perspective issues, but you can work on them on 250 Box Challange. My advice for box challenge is that take your time with them and do a lot of drawing for fun as drawing boxes might get tedious and boring sometimes.

All in all, your homework was good. Don't forget to include all of them in your warm-ups.
