Hi! finally donde the challenge :) I've learned a lot doing this challenge, like perspective or composition in my actual drawings (i'm into Pixelart, and sure was helpful).

Thanks for the upcoming critics and advices!

Yo NICOLASLASLAS

Let's jump into some notes/thoughts below:

Your boxes are great, lots of rotation, size, and perspective happening here. I wish you did more hatch lines, but oh well, it's optional.

The extended lines seem to converge and that's what we're looking for, so good job on that as well. Lots of true confident lines. The ghosting method must've helped you a lot, cause it looks excellent. :)

Overall you did an amazing job. Not many notes I can think of except when there are optional options to the homework...just do those too. You learn more from doing the extra work, and although tedious, you'll be happier on the other side.

Again, great great work and enjoy lesson 2.

Cheers,

OSTR1CH

Next Steps:

Dude you did 250 boxes and crushed it. Go onto the next steps and enjoy lesson 2.

Faber Castell PITT Artist Pens

Like the Staedtlers, these also come in a set of multiple weights - the ones we use are F. One useful thing in these sets however (if you can't find the pens individually) is that some of the sets come with a brush pen (the B size). These can be helpful in filling out big black areas.

Still, I'd recommend buying these in person if you can, at a proper art supply store. They'll generally let you buy them individually, and also test them out beforehand to weed out any duds.
