On organic intersections, I made a massive error with some circular organic form, please ignore that one, I did not think that one through :D

I think your arrows are good, but some of the ones of the first page are a little thin. Try to draw the nearest side bigger. But they show flow, nice!

Now, remember to use cast shadows, not form shadows. In the first two is more or less noticeable that you used form shadows. Crumpled paper isn't easy, so try to identy first the shadows that are casted in the rest of the surface. Then, the ones that are shadows because is an arising surface that due that blocks light and is reflected on itself. Just keep that in mind

In some dissections you used cast shadow very well, and in some you use form shadows. So, keep in mind to use cast shadows most of the time.

And also some textures in the dissections flattened the sausage. Recall to wrap it around.

Form intersections are tricky, so I recommend to do the following: mostly follow the surface of the form that is being intersected, but don't forget about the other form too. Follow both, but one more than the other.

I noticed that some of your spheres aren't remarked two times, which is something you should always do. And I'd recommend to ghost them more.

Your organic intersections looks fine, but remember to stick to simple sausages. That means, no bulky things at the end. Is a ball+tube+ball, with consistent width. Keep that in mind always

And also, don't add too many contour lines. Three or four will suffice if they follow the surface properly.

I agree with all said here and would also encourage you to really think about how the textures warp around the sausages for the dissection. Right now, your textures really flatten out the 3D form you worked so farm to achieve! I feel like you need to focus how the silhouette is impacted by the textures. You are spending a lot of time and attention to what amounts to just "coloring in" the sausage without thought of form. Remember, for our purposes, texture serves form, so make sure that it doesn't ruin it!

I noticed that too, I got caught up with trying to make the texture good that I forgot to actually show it wraps around a form and not just flat, Ill go back to that exercise soon

Thanks for the critique; I could not tell if I was doing cast or form shadows at some points, Ill improve on that and the rest :)

This is another one of those things that aren't sold through Amazon, so I don't get a commission on it - but it's just too good to leave out. PureRef is a fantastic piece of software that is both Windows and Mac compatible. It's used for collecting reference and compiling them into a moodboard. You can move them around freely, have them automatically arranged, zoom in/out and even scale/flip/rotate images as you please. If needed, you can also add little text notes.

When starting on a project, I'll often open it up and start dragging reference images off the internet onto the board. When I'm done, I'll save out a '.pur' file, which embeds all the images. They can get pretty big, but are way more convenient than hauling around folders full of separate images.

Did I mention you can get it for free? The developer allows you to pay whatever amount you want for it. They recommend $5, but they'll allow you to take it for nothing. Really though, with software this versatile and polished, you really should throw them a few bucks if you pick it up. It's more than worth it.
