I've noticed from your profile that you haven't completed the 250 Box Challenge and haven't received 2 agrees on your Lesson 2 Homework. I've gone ahead and given you an agree for your Lesson 2, and you can use the dedicated critique channel on the Drawabox Discord to ask someone for 1 more. I also just want to point out that only 2 of the 5 challenges are optional, and the 250 Box Challenge is not one of them. I will still review your Lesson 3 Assignment regardless, but I highly recommend going back and completing it. If you are wondering, the other 2 "non-optional" challenges are the 250 Cylinder Challenge (after Lesson 5) and the 25 Wheel Challenge (after Lesson 6).
Your Organic Arrows look largely good! Some shading would be nice on the creases, but it looks like you understand the concept regardless.
Your Leaves are looking fantastic, keep it up! Your branches are looking decent, and I have noticed some swelling, some loosely implemented ellipses, and tails coming off of your strokes. Definitely keep an eye out for these as you move forward, as these problems persist into your plant constructional drawings, and I saw that you also used a single stroke at times in the constructions.
Overall I feel that you did a good job on these assignments and I will mark this as complete. Remember that you will need 2 agrees from members in the community before you are awarded with the completion badge for this Lesson.
Next Steps:
250 Box Challenge,
and then Lesson 4
Staedtler Pigment Liners
These are what I use when doing these exercises. They usually run somewhere in the middle of the price/quality range, and are often sold in sets of different line weights - remember that for the Drawabox lessons, we only really use the 0.5s, so try and find sets that sell only one size.
Alternatively, if at all possible, going to an art supply store and buying the pens in person is often better because they'll generally sell them individually and allow you to test them out before you buy (to weed out any duds).
