Organic forms with curves
Overall they're looking good though they have a few issues, pointed them out here. Just like I told you on lesson 3, remember to follow the simple shape we're aiming for. You've also have some parts where you don't hook your contours, be careful with that too. If you have trouble in keeping the contours consistent, you can try to ghost first the ellipse, and then start ghosting only the curve, it might help.
Also, if you have trouble about mantaining the size consistent, remember you can always place dots to mark the overall proportions before drawing the sausage, or basically anything. It's something It'll be helpful for lesson 5 as well.
The bugs constructions are looking pretty good overall, I'll point out what I can find so you can keep improving.
First thing I notice, is that there are some parts where you are avoiding the initial construction you did. It's normal for the construction you did initially to have mistakes, but even if you notice them, follow your initial construction. Ignoring them and using them just as a guide will break the drawing 3d illusion, so it's something you want to avoid. Here's one example where you did it.
As I mentioned there too, don't forget to draw intersections between all forms, and for the claws, here's a demo you might have missed.
Here pointed out some of the forms I think you're missing drawing the intersections from. In general all forms need to have an intersection of some kind, so the drawing looks solid. I think you've done this in a few places more, like in your last ant, which is p solid, here.
In general, if you're gonna apply cast shadows that might obscure the initial drawing, or other details, I recommend taking a picture before, so the person who critiques can see it clearly.
Overall you're drawing big, which is great, drawings are pretty solid, your use of the sausage method improves through the lesson and ends up pretty good, so I'm not gonna ask you to do more pages of organic forms, and even though you've done some additions of forms in a flat manner, you've done a good job with it in other ones, so I know you understand it.
Next Steps:
Marking this as complete, keep it up and good luck in lesson 5!
