Thank you drawabox for these amazing lessons. I do think that I am learning somethings here. I am a hobbyist and not a professional, so I never had any pressure to draw good, that's why I never learnt it seriously. But this time, I am determined.

Thank you in advance for the reviews :)

PS. I did the "Rotated Boxes" in second attempt. I am sorry but I was made lot of errors even before drawing all the horizontal boxes, so I crossed it all and did again.

Line work is mostly solid in your homework, so good job! For the ellipses, be careful of them not hitting the frames (in the individual parallelograms), but it looks like you quickly improved on that in the second page of them. I love that you commit to your lines once you've put your pen to the paper - it's easy to tell that this helped you improve your line work moving forward (as seen in the boxes homeworks). Overall, I think you're definitely ready to move on. Good job!

Next Steps:

Try the 250 boxes challenge if you haven't already!

I agree with what lop said, but I just wanted to add that in the organic perspective you aren't plotting your lines. Before drawing any line you should always draw first the starting and ending dots of that line, otherwise you won't be able to ghost them properly.

Thanks Elodin. I noted your point and realize it now that I wasn't always putting the point, was ghosting by imagining the points. Thanks for the suggestion :)

Like the Staedtlers, these also come in a set of multiple weights - the ones we use are F. One useful thing in these sets however (if you can't find the pens individually) is that some of the sets come with a brush pen (the B size). These can be helpful in filling out big black areas.

Still, I'd recommend buying these in person if you can, at a proper art supply store. They'll generally let you buy them individually, and also test them out beforehand to weed out any duds.
