Hello! I hope everyone is doing well! Critique would be appreciated.
Hello Dramaticmoon! I can't give feedback on this one as I didn't completed it yet but i've been following your drawabox journey. I was wondering if you were on the discord as I didnt find you or if you have any social media where you share your progress. I would love to keep following your art :)
Hello Asceliopos! Yes, I'm on the discord but my username is different, I go by Chaotic-Mint, but I'm not very active. Currently I don't have any social media but maybe once I'm done with Drawabox I might consider starting an account. Thank you and good luck with the lessons!
Dear DRAMATICMOON.
Your Work is so amazing. I am doing lesson 0-1 then i saw your work, it is a very-huge movation, effort for me. Thank you.
And sorry cuz i cant give you any feedback.
Dear TRECON.
Thank you for your kind words! It means a lot to me! Good luck with the lessons, I'm sure that you will be able to create wonderful works in the future, just keep working hard and you'll make it!
Here we're getting into the subjective - Gerald Brom is one of my favourite artists (and a pretty fantastic novelist!). That said, if I recommended art books just for the beautiful images contained therein, my list of recommendations would be miles long.
The reason this book is close to my heart is because of its introduction, where Brom goes explains in detail just how he went from being an army brat to one of the most highly respected dark fantasy artists in the world today. I believe that one's work is flavoured by their life's experiences, and discovering the roots from which other artists hail can help give one perspective on their own beginnings, and perhaps their eventual destination as well.
