Hello! Congratulations on clearing up lesson 1! A fineliner would be ideal to get, but I get the current issue at hand. Ballpoints are fine for now, but do try to look into online retailers who provide fineliners to get the true DaB experience. That aside, I'll move on to the crit.

Lines: Good work. I see confidence in your lines with little wobble, which is more or less the goal in these lines. There's some arcing in your lines, especially the longer ones. I suspect this could be due to mixed pivots, either due to unintentional elbow or wrist movement. Do take note of this in your warmups in the future.

Ellipses: They start off rough, but improve quite significantly as you went through the exercises. Good job! Its still worth mentioning that you should ghost mindfully, and then execute with full confidence in your ghosting. Doing so generally results in less "jagged" edges and less deformed ellipses. Its good that you're putting confident ellipses over accurate ones, though, since this is one of the key ideas in DaB. Your ellipses in the funnels are also excellently lined up with the minor axis, so great work there!

Boxes: As a general note, try not to sacrifice line quality in favour of creating a "proper" box. This is mostly an issue with rough perspective. In addition, note that line weight should be a single superimposed line over the original. Your line weight in the plotted perspective is too much in this regard. In organic perspective, you can use line weight to clarify dominance in the boxes. But, aside from that, I really don't have too much to say on the exercises. Rotated boxes is done excellently, as with the organic perspective. You have sold me very well on the ideas of rotation and 3D space respectively in each of the exercises. These exercises seem to be what most people stumble on, so the fact that you've done them with great finesse is deserving of much kudos. Good job!

Overall, I think this was an outstanding attempt at the lesson. You've demonstrated a great grasp on each exercise's concepts, and executed them well. Good job. I'll clear this lesson. Don't forget about the 50/50 rule, and remember to do your warmups!
