Lesson 1: Lines, Ellipses and Boxes

if you think i should redo i will
Hi, I'll be giving you my feedback today
-superimposed lines
the only mistakes I can see are :
1-your lines are a bit wobbly and you're focusing too much on replicating the first line 100% as uncomfortable mentions confidence in your lines is much more important than accuracy although both are important I recommend practicing drawing lines a little more loosely and from your shoulder as mentioned here : https://drawabox.com/lesson/1/2
2- your lines sometimes fray on both ends meaning you sometimes don't start from the same point
-ghosted lines
same as before only mistake I see are wobbly lines
-ghosted planes
I see that you drew some lines twice as a correction a common theme with draw a box is to learn to accept your mistakes in mark making and move past them if you are not satisfied with a certain line move past it and try to make the next one better
-plotted prespective
from what I can see you did not draw through the boxes again this is something that will stick with you for the rest of the course as we will be drawing through our forms even in complicated assignments so it's better to get used to it from lesson 1
-rotated boxes
the only mistake I can point out here is that you need to keep your boxes closer together and to try to use your already drawn boxes as guides for your rotation
Next Steps:
I suggest working a little on the exercises provided on lesson 1 specially line exercises
This recommendation is really just for those of you who've reached lesson 6 and onwards.
I haven't found the actual brand you buy to matter much, so you may want to shop around. This one is a "master" template, which will give you a broad range of ellipse degrees and sizes (this one ranges between 0.25 inches and 1.5 inches), and is a good place to start. You may end up finding that this range limits the kinds of ellipses you draw, forcing you to work within those bounds, but it may still be worth it as full sets of ellipse guides can run you quite a bit more, simply due to the sizes and degrees that need to be covered.
No matter which brand of ellipse guide you decide to pick up, make sure they have little markings for the minor axes.
