Took a little break, but did warmups with past exercises for a week and feel I'm back at it. Some of my own mistakes I can see already, such as some sloppy sausages and some parts where I forgot that I'm not supposed to correct and draw over my construction lines. I also struggled a lot with my paper and pen - the paper was surprisingly coarse and I had to press a bit more with the pen to get solid lines. Very finicky. Also, and scan was not done by me so it looks a bit washed out. I hope my construction lines are still visible.

Looking forward to a critique!

Hello! Here's the critique

Like I said on it I want you to do one more page of organic forms and then after that one more insect! Good luck and keep up the good work!

Next Steps:

1 more page of organic forms wth contour lines

1 more page of an insect

When finished, reply to this critique with your revisions.

I made a mistake and uploaded the wrong video, if you have looked at it already don't freak out, I edited it again, sorry for the inconvenience

Wescott Grid Ruler

Wescott Grid Ruler

Every now and then I'll get someone asking me about which ruler I use in my videos. It's this Wescott grid ruler that I picked up ages ago. While having a transparent grid is useful for figuring out spacing and perpendicularity, it ultimately not something that you can't achieve with any old ruler (or a piece of paper you've folded into a hard edge). Might require a little more attention, a little more focus, but you don't need a fancy tool for this.

But hey, if you want one, who am I to stop you?
