Lost in the Multiverse

7:20 AM, Wednesday June 29th 2022

I know this is probably a long shot, but while I was finishing the prompt for the Lost in the Multiverse sketch my electricity went out and then my clock was off by a few hours and I didn't realize it until I went to submit my sketch, so I ended up turning it in 15 minutes late. Is it possible for it still to count for the Promptathon?

I looked into what it would take to do that manually in the database, and unfortunately it'd be rather complicated and would risk me breaking something if I tried to do it quickly. I'm on vacation right now, so unfortunately it's not something I can do for you without it being a risky operation.

Okay, thank you for looking into it though!

The Art of Blizzard Entertainment

While I have a massive library of non-instructional art books I've collected over the years, there's only a handful that are actually important to me. This is one of them - so much so that I jammed my copy into my overstuffed backpack when flying back from my parents' house just so I could have it at my apartment. My back's been sore for a week.

The reason I hold this book in such high esteem is because of how it puts the relatively new field of game art into perspective, showing how concept art really just started off as crude sketches intended to communicate ideas to storytellers, designers and 3D modelers. How all of this focus on beautiful illustrations is really secondary to the core of a concept artist's job. A real eye-opener.
