Lesson 1: Lines, Ellipses and Boxes

Here we go again c:
Hi Eingyi! I am Feldspar and I will be critiquing your work today. I hope you've been keeping up with your 50% rule and warmups while waiting! Without further ado lets start!
Lines
Superimposed Lines: I see no fraying on both sides nor wobbling. Really good lines!
Ghosted Lines: I see some wobbliness here and there but there is nothing warmups cant fix. Confident lines, good work!
Ghosted Planes: Solid planes all i can say.
Ellipses
Tables of Ellipses: Ellipses need to have two borders that encase them, to check their accuracy, but a lot of ellipses "float" on the page without any targets. But I see you put time and effort into executing ellipses smoothly and with evenly shape. I want you to re-consume the material again and follow the instructions. You may check out ScyllaStew's video
Ellipses in Planes: Really good ellipses!
Funnels: Good funnels. Good job!
Boxes
Plotted Perspective: Nothing to add here.
Rough Perspective: Solid boxes!
Rotated Boxes: i don't see the squares at the end of each axis. This means you are not followed core steps of the exercise. But I see that you mostly understand how to rotate boxes and gaps between boxes are consistent so I'm not gonna reassign this again. And i see you forgot to draw through bottom right corner box. I encourage you to finish it :) I recommend reconsuming the material/ScyllaStew's videos before attempting Rotated Boxes for warmup.
Organic Perspective: Good boxes! I see your understanding of Y-method and how lines converge as they go to their vanishing points.
Omg O_o. I only now noticed that you done this and other lessons before. This explains a lot :> Maybe its me who need to be critiqued :p
Next Steps:
I request:
1 page of Tables of Ellipses
Add the missing box on your existing Rotated Boxes
I don't expect perfect, or not even a good work, just one that follows the instructions. You will post the first page you do, no practice pages, no grinding. I'll be waiting here for your reply so you can start your box challenge :)
Like the Staedtlers, these also come in a set of multiple weights - the ones we use are F. One useful thing in these sets however (if you can't find the pens individually) is that some of the sets come with a brush pen (the B size). These can be helpful in filling out big black areas.
Still, I'd recommend buying these in person if you can, at a proper art supply store. They'll generally let you buy them individually, and also test them out beforehand to weed out any duds.
