Notes: This was fun. Please be honest if you decide to critique my stuff. As for the Ghosted Lines exercise I feel like upon practicing with some warm ups I improved quite a lot, but still decided to exclude it since I was advised to over at the Discord server.

If you do critique my work, thank you!

Hi, Slyx. Good job on finishing this lesson.

Your superimposed lines are very good. There is some slight wobble on your ghosted ones, but they are overall nice. The same goes for your ghosted plane. Good lines and you did a nice job plotting all of them with dots.

Although your ellipses are mostly good, in some cases you are going over them too many times. Draw them two or three times at most. This happens specially on your ghosted ellipses and your funnels.

On the rough perspective exercise you managed to keep most of your planes aligned with the horizon, but your lines suffer from a bit of wobble here. Be sure to draw your lines with a smooth and confident stroke.

Some of your rotated boxes are not actually rotating. Specially along the middle row and column. If you notice, some of them are sharing the same vanishing point.

You managed to crease some interesting composition on the organic perspective exercise. Your boxes seem like they belong to the same 3D space and you did a good job on the difference between the smaller and larger ones. In some occasions your are doing over the same lines more than once. It didn't happened often, but it's something you should avoid doing.

Overall a nice submission. Good luck for the next lessons.

Next Steps:

250 boxes challenge.

Thank you! Yeah I can definitely see where you're coming from and I'll keep it in mind as I continue with my warm-ups and through the lessons.

Drawabox isn't the be-all, end-all of drawing fundamental education. Our approach prioritizes certain concepts over others, and while we believe it do so for good reasons, ultimately it doesn't appeal to everyone. If Drawabox simply doesn't work for you, give Proko's Drawing Basics course a try - at the very least, you'll probably find it to be a hell of a lot more fun.
