Lesson 1: Lines, Ellipses and Boxes

Done on A5 paper
Congratulations on completing the lesson!
Your superimposed lines looks fine, there are no wobbles and just few are arching.
You started well in ghoted lines, you didn't fray on starting points. Lines are consistent as well as confident though should improve connecting the endpoint in time.
The planes tend to connect at the center that's good. Ellipses are wobbly but we can solve this by ghosting first before putting the nib down. In table of ellipses, they are neat in sizing and well adjusted in spacing.
In your funnels, you need to prioritize confident lines than precision. Keep in mind that the minor axis (line in the middle) should cut the ellipses in symmetrical halves.
Plotted perspective is fine
The lines are bit wobbly in your rough perspective though the estimates are good. Examine if your height lines are perpendicular to the horizon and width lines are parallel to the horizon.
Your boxes aren't rotating but this assingment is really a struggle and you got through it so well done.
Organic perspective, the work on gradual sizing of each boxes are good. Your boxes are shallow and have diverging lines, instead of receding in perspective.
This is a remarkable little pen. I'm especially fond of this one for sketching and playing around with, and it's what I used for the notorious "Mr. Monkey Business" video from Lesson 0. It's incredibly difficult to draw with (especially at first) due to how much your stroke varies based on how much pressure you apply, and how you use it - but at the same time despite this frustration, it's also incredibly fun.
Moreover, due to the challenge of its use, it teaches you a lot about the nuances of one's stroke. These are the kinds of skills that one can carry over to standard felt tip pens, as well as to digital media. Really great for doodling and just enjoying yourself.
I would not recommend this for Drawabox - we use brush pens for filling in shadow shapes, and you do not need a pen this fancy for that. If you do purchase it, save it for drawing outside of the course.
