two hundred and fifty boxes.
definitely need to work on keeping my lines straight and smooth
Nice job job finishing the challenge!
I just have a couple of notes for things you can improve. Firstly, your lines tend to diverge even in the late 200s, this visual aid might help, basically you think of the lines in terms of their related degree instead of just going to the same point. And second, you would benefit from varying the angle of your boxes and the perspective, try using this tool in the future.
Next Steps:
I would like to see another 15 boxes with more exagerated perspective and different angles.
Here's a diagram to give you some ideas of different orientations.
Like the Staedtlers, these also come in a set of multiple weights - the ones we use are F. One useful thing in these sets however (if you can't find the pens individually) is that some of the sets come with a brush pen (the B size). These can be helpful in filling out big black areas.
Still, I'd recommend buying these in person if you can, at a proper art supply store. They'll generally let you buy them individually, and also test them out beforehand to weed out any duds.
