Lesson 2: Contour Lines, Texture and Construction

Lesson 2 was an interesting one, and some of it was really fun to do! I would appreciate feedback very much.
hi your work is great i was wondering why u didnt give feedback to other and tell elodin in discord to put u in the list after 5 feedback your work is great nothing to say here as arrows they are great
organic form try to stick of just two circles connected as tube i saw the ends need more practice u were aware of degree but not in contours one they didnt change the degree much but great rember in forward drawing work contours dont need to be over just as much it will give to make 3d spatial reasoning Contour curves are a useful tool to describe how a form sits in 3D space but they can easily work against us by flattening our drawing, the best approach is to use the ghosting method to think about each mark’s purpose and how you are going to achieve it best, once that is done you can focus on executing that mark with confidence. This way you will avoid drawing contours that do not really add any useful information to the drawing. And also keep in mind that you don’t need to draw too many to convey the tri dimensionality of a form.
just tiny hint dont hatch as u do in dissection little touch but if u ask me its great use here u made work as the book say
orgainc form intersection are great u can see the lag and fix it i know again epic work the geometric are great will need to draw more same size thats all try to see discord lessons pinned post
Next Steps:
lesson 3
When it comes to technical drawing, there's no one better than Scott Robertson. I regularly use this book as a reference when eyeballing my perspective just won't cut it anymore. Need to figure out exactly how to rotate an object in 3D space? How to project a shape in perspective? Look no further.
