Serious question relating to Lession 3 onwards to 4

7:30 AM, Monday February 9th 2026

i've already watched a few of the demos and i've done 6/8 Planets I've done 3 Planets by myself and 3 via the Demo I understand your only able to do 4 Demo planets max, and I generally get the gist of the information from watching the first few demos Should I watch the rest of the demos or should I just do the plants by myself Looking at the note information of what to look out for? I am close to submission but this has just put me on a bit of a froze point because I don't know what to do and I don't want to waste time

It is a little late for me to be answering this, seeing as you've already gone ahead and submitted lesson 3, but it is recomended that you do draw along with all of the demos, (edit to add: specifically doing so before attempting your own constructions) even though there are more demos than you can submit with your homework.

Drawing along with the demos will help you solidify your understanding of the methods Uncomfortable is using, and give you a greater chance of being able to apply those methods to your own independent constructions afterwards.

Uh actually it's not too late I went through all the demos before submitting i've done them as bonus if they would like to be submitted. future reference I will do all the demos first and then do the construction for myself I apologize.

Steven Zapata's Secrets of Shading

Steven Zapata's Secrets of Shading

Some of you will have noticed that Drawabox doesn't teach shading at all. Rather, we focus on the understanding of the spatial relationships between the form we're drawing, which feeds into how one might go about applying shading. When it comes time to learn about shading though, you're going to want to learn it from Steven Zapata, hands down.

Take a look at his portfolio, and you'll immediately see why.
