Hi!

Maybe some comments are useful:

  1. Rotated Boxes is incomplete there should be five boxes in each row and each column. But you were doing it very well!

  2. In rough perspective there are some lines that are a little wibble. Also the widht lines should parallel to the horizon and the lenght lines shoud be vertical but this is difficult to do. Notice that both pictures are a little blurred.

  3. Wibble lines also happen a frequently in Organic Perspective.

Great work!

Next Steps:

I suggest you to finish the rotating boxes homework. Then it is time to being with the 250 boxes challenges!

Hi :)

In general I think they are good! I can see that you struggle a lot curves.

On the Ghosted lines exercise I think it would be better if you could end your line in the econd dot or at least close to it, try not to stop the line in the way, but there is not that a big deal because even if you continue the line it would stop on the dot.

The boxes exercises, I can see that you did understand the theory of perspective but in some exercises you really struggle a lot. On the rotated boxes it is unfinished because you could see how weird the boxes stared to become. It might help if you have VP in mind while doing it. I am not saying to repeat this exercise, but maybe it would help the 250 box challenge.. and then maybe just try doing 1 full quadrant to see how much you evolved.

Take a moment to tap yourself on the back, you ve earn it!

I would just like to add : be mindful of curved or wobbly lines, as there seems to be several of them in your organic perspective exercise. Good work overall! :)

The Science of Deciding What You Should Draw

The Science of Deciding What You Should Draw

Right from when students hit the 50% rule early on in Lesson 0, they ask the same question - "What am I supposed to draw?"

It's not magic. We're made to think that when someone just whips off interesting things to draw, that they're gifted in a way that we are not. The problem isn't that we don't have ideas - it's that the ideas we have are so vague, they feel like nothing at all. In this course, we're going to look at how we can explore, pursue, and develop those fuzzy notions into something more concrete.
