Hello and congrats on completing lesson one. I'll be taking a look at your submission. After a quick glance through it appears that you have put a LOT of work into this which is really nice to see. Starting with your superimposed lines these are looking fine. You are keeping a clearly defined starting point with all of your tapering at the opposite end. Your ghosted lines and planes are looking good. You are doing a great job employing the ghosting method to get smooth and confident linework with a pretty fair degree of accuracy that will just grow the more you practice.
Your table of ellipses are off to a nice start. You are doing a great job drawing through all of your ellipses and focusing on getting consistently smooth ellipse shapes. This is carried over well into your ellipses in planes. You are slightly deforming some of these ellipses but it doesn't appear to be a serious issue or habit that you really need to worry about especially as I see you are back to getting very smooth ellipse shapes for the most part with your ellipses in funnels. One thing you can do with your ellipses in funnels is widen the degrees of the ellipses as they move outwards in the funnels. https://drawabox.com/lesson/1/13/step3 You are also having some slight issues with ellipses titlting off the minor axis that you should always try and be aware of. https://drawabox.com/lesson/1/13/notaligned
Plotted persepctive looks great nothing to mention here. Your rough perspective boxes turned out very well. You were right that your lines are not quite as confident and smooth on the first page but you appear to have gotten that out of the way and are really back on track with that confident linework on the second page. You also did a great job extending the lines back on your boxes to check your work. As you can see some of your perspective estimations were quite off but this will become more intuitive with practice.
Your rotated box exercise was a decent attempt. You did a good job drawing through your boxes and keeping your gaps consistent. You did run into a pretty common issue here of not actually rotating your boxes though and instead simply drawing them moving back in perspective. https://drawabox.com/lesson/1/16/notrotating This is a great exercise to come back to after a few lessons to see how much your spatial thinking ability has improved. Finally, your organic perspetive exercise turned out very nice. Your linework is really great here and you are doing very well with drawing from your shoulder as well as using the ghosting method. Your box constructions are pretty solid for the most part.
Overall this was a really great submission with some really nice improvements. I think you are understanding most of the concepts these lessons are trying to convey very well. I'm going to mark this as complete and good luck with the 250 box challenge. Keep up the hard work!
