Good job, your lines are looking much better! Ellipses are a pain. Yours aren't bad but can and will get better as you progress in the course.

Good luck on the 250 box challenge

Hi Bagool. Congrats on completing all the lesson one homework. There are two main things that i think you should try and improve on. One is to make sure to start on the the start point you've set u. This is mainly on the ghosted lines submissions and a bit in some of the later tasks. And second would be to work on your line confidence. Again it is mainly in your first tasks, where there are more wobbly lines.

Next Steps:

Redoing the ghosted planes and ellipses task and ghosted lines tasks would with a focus on less wobbly lines and once youre confident with those working on keeping your lines and eclipses within their bounds.

When finished, reply to this critique with your revisions.

I've added two retries of those. Lines are looking much better, rotating the page really helps. Ellipses are still dreadful, but I'll work on that xD

Cottonwood Arts Sketchbooks

These are my favourite sketchbooks, hands down. Move aside Moleskine, you overpriced gimmick. These sketchbooks are made by entertainment industry professionals down in Los Angeles, with concept artists in mind. They have a wide variety of sketchbooks, such as toned sketchbooks that let you work both towards light and towards dark values, as well as books where every second sheet is a semitransparent vellum.
