Hello! I am Doctormein. I'll be critiquing your Superimposed Line Today.

Superimposed Lines

Wobbling.

There are not much wobbling here as far as i am concerned which is great it show that you are trying your best to draw the line confidently.

Fraying on both ends.

Some of the long lines have Fraying on both end So i think you should partially focus on that too.

Accuracy

Accuracy could be improved but this will get better with times.

Conclusion

The Exercise is Nicely done. And while mistake above that i mentioned should be fixed. You should still move on and do the entire lesson 1. even if the result comes out badly. The mistake i mentioned above should be fixed via warmup. So remember DO NOT GRIND.

*For the Partial Submission you can post an image of the assignment onto the Discord server Which will do most of the heavy lifting for partial submission.

And welcome to Drawabox!

okay thank you for your reply. I've done the entirety of lesson one, however I did not get each exercise that I did critiqued. thank you for critiquing this one to start out.

If you've done all of lesson 1 (including the lines, ellipses and box sections) then be sure to submit all of that in 1 submission (not a partial submission). That way it'll show up in the list and someone can critique you.

Cottonwood Arts Sketchbooks

These are my favourite sketchbooks, hands down. Move aside Moleskine, you overpriced gimmick. These sketchbooks are made by entertainment industry professionals down in Los Angeles, with concept artists in mind. They have a wide variety of sketchbooks, such as toned sketchbooks that let you work both towards light and towards dark values, as well as books where every second sheet is a semitransparent vellum.
