Lesson 1: Lines, Ellipses and Boxes

Thank you guys for taking the time to look at my work. I'm open to any kind of critique!
Hello Arksa! I am just a beginner too, so take my words with a grain of salt, but I hope I can still give you some helpful feedback!
First of, I gotta say that it is impressive how many ghosted planes you fit on the paper! It looks...kind of aesthetic. Beside that, I am sure it was a good practise for ghosting lines and your line confidence definitly shows that. If you wanted to practise lines a bit more, I would suggest making bigger ghosted planes, so you are forced to draw longer lines.
The only point of critique that I would have in this section is that in the funnely exercise, the middle axis doesn´t cut the ellipses in half. Other than that, the ellipses look confident and are kept well inside their bounds, so I think it is good!
I think you managed the rough and the plotted perspective well, however, I would suggest working on the organic perspective and the rotated boxes a bit more. Especially the later one is very difficult, I know. I think you got a bit overwhelmed with all the lines and related them incorrectly. I would suggest doing the front faces of the boxes first (so basically just drawing planes), and keeping the distance between these "faces" the same. And after you have established the front faces, you can start adding the perspective lines.
Next Steps:
I hope my feedback was of help to you and I wish you good luck for your further creative endeavors! I believe you should do the rotated boxes excercise once more, but other than that, you are good!
I'll be sure to take everything you said into account. Thank you so much for this feedback!
That was great, although some pictures were slightly blurry. GREAT!
Next Steps:
Move onto the 250 Box Challenge.
Marco Bucci's got a ton of great courses available on proko.com, including some of the best videos you can find on using colour and light. Since a lot of our students want to break into working with digital painting however, I thought this course in particular would be a great start to get into the weeds with how to navigate the confusing world of layers, brushes, and more.
This course highlights programs across the full spectrum of options, ranging from the current industry standard Adobe Photoshop, to the Free-and-Open-Source darling Krita, as well as the mobile favourite, Procreate.
