Shape Vs Form

Now before i begin, i understand that shape and form are directly explained in lesson 1 however when im talking about shape I'm referring to it as its own fundamental to learn outside of drawabox and its relationship to the fundamentals, specifically spacial reasoning or more broadly form and perspective taught here. Usually the two concepts are seperated from each other as though theyconflict in some manner, my own theory on how shapes can be correlated to our understanding of the knowledge is that shapes can be designed seperately but are really 3d forms that should be treated as such. any shape can designed accurately and interestingly as shapes but should be understood as forms with contour lines, geometry etc that exist in 3d space. ultimately however i'm unsure
hopefully this doesn't come off as a ramble, i had this thought while sleep deprived and writhing in my bed.
