Hey there spruce, welcome to DaB! I'm reboot, and I'll be taking your critique

I'll be dividing it ino three section, lines, ellipses and boxes.

LINE-

superintendent lines- while the fraying is normal, I doo see A LOT of arcing and wobbling.

PLease make sure that you use your shoudler, and make fast strokes. Remember the it is fluency over acuracy, don't worry if the lien doesnt reach its spot or what not.

Ghosted lines- The lines are better, but the wbble and arcing is still noticable. Make sure you take as much times as you need to make single mark. In the case of arcing, it could be that you aren't using your shoulder, but some people have a natural tendency to arc. If that's the case, the you would want to purposefully arcing it slightly up to get a straight line(https://drawabox.com/lesson/1/ghostedlines- read the mistakes section once again)

Pret

Ghosted planes- Your lines have less arcing here, some do still arc but it is very little. The wobble however is still there. As mentioned above, check both of the links sent above. " we can still work with a line that is smooth and even, but there's not much that can be done with a wobbly one."

ELLIPSES-

ellipses on planes- Your ellipses here are very smooth, good job on that. I do see on some of the allipses that they taper towards one end, this could be for two reason- Either you get hesitant while drawing the second half of the ellipse, or that you are trying to centre it to the plane. In the first case keep good speed while drawing the entire ellipse, make sure there are no changes in speed. In the second case remember that you are not trying to align it to the x, but rather are seeing how the ellipse fits into it. Imagine it as table of ellipse, but there is space for only one ellipses.

Table of ellipses- The ellipses here are also pretty smooth, and only very few of them dont touch all the sides. Good job on that!

Funnels- YOu have done a very good job here!

BOXES-

Plotted perspective- Pretty good!

Rough perspective- lines are still wobbly here, but I've already mentioned that. The convergence of the line get much better toward the end, good job on that.

Rotated box- SO i traced some of the boxes lines to their own vp, it seems you got the part that the vp moves but not HOW exactly and WHERE it should move.https://imgur.com/a/xoGvXKs.

Basically, the vp moves away from the direction the box rotates to, and goes further back depending on how much it rotated in that direction. I suggest reading through the lesson again and watch the video so you have a better understanding

On the other hand we have scaling, some boxes are very big, while some are quite small.

organic boxes- Your boxes are pretty good, although on some of them I see very extreme foreshortening, remember not to go way to extreme, keep some distance between the vp and box.

Your lines here are better, but I notice that you havent properly ghosted them but rather freehanded them, Always plot your dots and ghost the line before executing the mark

Overall, your boxes and ellipses are pretty good, and your lies have improved however I feel they may need a little more work. You have done a good job, I hope to see your art journey progress! Also do remember to read the critique thoroughly, and check out all the links posted

Next Steps:

Ghosted plane

rotated boxes

This time take in mind what I have told you ,and before starting do specify where your doubt was exactly.

Your lines here have much less wobble! I'd suggest you keep working on the arcing during warmups. Your rotated boxes are much better here.

You have done an amazing job! Gl on your future artistic endeavours!

Next Steps:

Move on to the 250 box challenge

It's also more than that - it's a hand-picked recommendation of something I've used myself. If you're interested, here is a full list.
Sakura Pigma Microns

Sakura Pigma Microns

A lot of my students use these. The last time I used them was when I was in high school, and at the time I felt that they dried out pretty quickly, though I may have simply been mishandling them. As with all pens, make sure you're capping them when they're not in use, and try not to apply too much pressure. You really only need to be touching the page, not mashing your pen into it.

In terms of line weight, the sizes are pretty weird. 08 corresponds to 0.5mm, which is what I recommend for the drawabox lessons, whereas 05 corresponds to 0.45mm, which is pretty close and can also be used.
